I’m Roland, a passionate educator, lifelong learner, and digital entrepreneur. I’m in my 40s with over 20 years of experience as a math teacher. I spent the last decade improving my online business and blogging skills. Lately, I’ve been focusing on writing activity books and math workbooks.

My journey hasn’t always been smooth. When I first started trying to make money online, I faced failure after failure. I launched five websites, a YouTube channel, and multiple Shopify stores before finally cracking the code. I have learned that content marketing and self-publishing take time but can be extremely rewarding.

Each setback was tough, but this helped me understand that success is about falling forward. You should embrace your mistakes, learn from them, and never give up.

Online courses and connecting with other creators allowed me to speed up my learning path. Growth comes from the desire to provide value and a willingness to keep learning, regardless of age or experience.

Faith has been my anchor throughout this journey. As a Christian, I draw strength from my beliefs. Christ has helped me overcome obstacles and keep moving forward, even when things seemed impossible.

Outside of work, I live with my wonderful partner and our child. We love spending time together. I enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities, like heading to the beach in my free time. I also cherish moments with friends and family, believing that strong relationships are the foundation of a balanced life.

I have seen the effect of aging on brain function, and it empowered me to create educational content for:

  • parents looking to keep their kids busy with activities that support child development
  • kids enjoying brain games
  • adults aiming to challenge themselves and relieve boredom
  • seniors who want to maintain brain health while keeping dementia and Alzheimer’s at bay

Being able to alternate screen-free and on-screen activities is also a huge challenge. As a busy dad, I had to find ways to spend enough quality time with my son. It’s not an easy task, and I know many single moms who are struggling to maintain a good work-life balance.
